Mayor Darlene Spivey​
Darlene Oakes Spivey was born and raised Greene County in Hookerton, North Carolina. She moved to New Bern in 1973 and moved to Trenton in 1989. She married Glenn Spivey in October 2001. Darlene has one son Rossie Manning, a daughter-in-law Hillary and two grandchildren Riley and Cole that reside in Wilmington. Darlene also has a step daughter Missy and a step son Carlton and they have 7 children.
